A few weeks ago we found out that the Q Series can be used for 4 cell 12V applications. This came to light because we needed a dual 12V configuration using the Master to aggregate our two BMS’s into one Single system so that Victron would only see it as a single DC source within its framework.
As we understand it, there is a zener diode that has been added on the PCB to allow for a 16 cell 3.7V LiPo system(which is very rare for us). If the diode is removed it can be used with a 4 cell LFP configuration.
We have ordered our first one and hope to be testing it in the next month and we will keep you posted on how it works.
